About Flower Growers of Mississippi
Flower Growers of Mississippi has created a wide and diverse community of flower growers throughout Mississippi and the Southern region. We are striving to increase farm products, support work force training and advance the cut flower industry by offering training for a viable Mississippi product.
Flower Growers of Mississippi functions as a cooperative, allowing flower growers to become members to:
join the supportive and informative online network and Facebook group,
participate in virtual and on-site trainings,
gain access to flower-growing resources (specific to the Southern growing climate),
receive complementary seeds, bulbs and plant materials, and
engage with florists and other wholesale buyers.
Flower Growers of Mississippi is a program under the Mississippi Urban Forest Council, and is brought to you by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS). USDA is an equal opportunity provider, lender, and employer. Special accommodations are provided upon request.
To learn more about the resources provided by the NRCS to beginning and limited-resource farmers, please visit their Conservation Programs page. To learn more about the U.S. Farm Bill, visit the USDA Farm Bill website.
